Heat dissipation principle of heat pipe

Heat pipe is the use of evaporative refrigeration, so that the temperature difference between the two ends of the heat pipe is very large, so that the heat conduction. The principle of heat pipe technology is actually very simple, which is to use the evaporation and condensation of the working fluid to transfer heat. The inside of the copper tube is vacuumed and filled with working fluid. The fluid circulates repeatedly in the interior through a phase change process of evaporation-condensation, continuously transferring heat from the hot end to the cold end, thus forming a heat transfer process in which heat is transferred from one end of the tube to the other end.

The general heat pipe is composed of a tube shell, a wick and an end cover. The inside of the heat pipe is pumped into a negative pressure state and filled with an appropriate liquid, which has a low boiling point and is easy to volatilize. The tube wall has a wick, which is composed of a capillary porous material. One end of the heat pipe is the evaporation end, and the other end is the condensation end. When one end of the heat pipe is heated, the liquid in the capillary tube evaporates rapidly. The vapor flows to the other end under a slight pressure difference, releases heat, and condenses into liquid again. The liquid flows back to the evaporation section by capillary force along the porous material, and the heat is transferred from one end of the heat pipe to the other end. This cycle is fast, and heat can be continuously conducted away.

Heat pipe design is different

At present, there are some cheap heat pipe radiators in the market, which also include some video card radiators. Although heat pipes are used, the outer wall is often made of aluminum, and the internal capillary process is almost impossible to use powder sintering process, so the performance will not be as good as * * heat pipes. Because the bonding degree of welding directly affects the heat dissipation effect, the cost of welding is higher.
